HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
First Up, the Birthday Card We Made for My Dad's 80th. This was our first attempt at a Shadow Box Card, and the first time I colored with Copics.
THE “ART CARD”
Next, the new card we're calling the “Art Card,” which was the first time we put our “grunge” / “vintage” practice into a finished product.
The funny story that goes with this one has to do with the letters. I have a box with about 250 of those letters, and I grabbed a few randomly – five I think – and I dropped three onto my work surface to use. The three letters dropped “R,” then “A,” then “T,” which I decided to use to create A-R-T.
